Do I have to pay to start a family?
No. Start free with up to 3 people, including children. Any eligible adult member can buy the £9.99 one-off Family Pass to unlock up to 25 people for Christmas 2026. Everyone else joins free and there is no automatic renewal.
Where do I enter a discount code?
On the secure payment page, choose "Add promotion code" and type your code. The new total shows before you pay.
What happens if a fourth person joins a free family?
They wait for an eligible adult to unlock the Family Pass before they can see the family’s wishes or claims. People already in the family keep their access.
Can I join my partner’s family and my own?
Yes. Use one account and switch between your families. Each family has its own private Christmas space and its own free limit or Family Pass.
Will they see what I’m buying them?
No. Your private shopping notes and spending stay private. Gift recipients cannot see who reserved, bought or wrapped their gift, and Secret Santa reveals stay personal. A guardian manages a child’s reveal.
How does Secret Santa work with the free family?
A Secret Santa exchange needs at least 4 eligible family members and a Family Pass. Free families have room for up to 3 people, so Secret Santa is not included. Any eligible adult can buy the £9.99 one-off Family Pass for up to 25 people when purchases are available.
Can I add a wish from any shop?
Yes. Paste a shop link or add the details yourself. Where gift search or Price Watch is available, prices and availability can change, so check the retailer before buying. Any affiliate link is disclosed and never changes the ranking of gifts.
What happens on Christmas morning?
Your Head Elf opens Christmas Morning when your family is ready. It never opens automatically at midnight.
Are personalised keepsakes included?
No. Keepsakes are separate purchases from the Family Pass.
